Brother Grimm is the second book in the Jan Fable Series by Craig Russell.
The book is very, very interesting. I do not know if I liked it that much because it involves the Grimm brothers, but the book is amazing.
Brother Grimm is one of those books that gives you not just the story of the fictional characters, but which provides you with additional background information on the topic, that is being discussed in the book – in this case, the life and work of the brothers Grimm.
I cannot finish a review about this book without mentioning the writer’s development in this book. When one reads Blood Eagle first and then shortly after that Brother Grimm, one can see how much better the writing has become. The plot is structured better, the twists are more unexpected. It is like Russell himself liked this book more and took more time and effort in preparing it.
So, rating time:
