My greatest regret is that there would never be another book by the genius Albert Camus.
I can give you only one advice concerning Lolita – read the book, and then if you are still willing to, watch the movie. The book has much more to offer and the movie, as good as it is, is lacking in so many places.
I thought that Perfume was one of these rare occasions when the movies are if not batter, at least as good as the book.
The Stand tells the story of good and evil, of love and hate, of faith and treachery. It leads us, the readers, trough the people change for better or for worst and it shows us the beauty of the world that surrounds us.
“The Phantom of the Opera” by Gaston Leroux is a book written in 1909. Can you believe that?1909! That book is way too good to be that old. I have to confess that this is one of the few classics that I have read and really enjoyed. It is definitely worth reading.
The rating I am giving the novel is:
Idea: 5 out of 5
Story-line: 5 out of 5
Editing: 5 out of 5
Twists: 5 out of 5
Total = Willingness to read more of the same author: 5. This undeniably is my favourite Stephen King’s book, and one of the few books I would reread some day.
